Fast charging of Li-ion batteries is considered as an important factor for electric vehicle (EV) sales to draw consumer interest. . The two main challenges faced by the researchers around the globe for fast charging are: requirement of complex charging electronic circuitry and suitable current profile to recharge the battery in shortest possible time. we propose a unique fast charger that can adapt to the user needs and a unique current profile (UCP) to attain an efficient fast charging of Li-ion batteries while attaining lower temerparature increase beyond ambient temperature .
